Good cheeses and yogurts begin with good milk. Simple. True. That’s what we believe and that’s why we use only the freshest milk from our own healthy, happy goats to make our products. The milk from Skyhill Farms’ goats is mild and we never use any additives. Those who have Lactose intolerance can consume goat milk products and digest them easily. The fats found in goats milk are easier to digest than those in cow’s milk as they come from the middle fatty acid chain. We make products that are wholesome and are so happy to be helping people with health issues.
Skyhill Farms cheeses and yogurts can be found at local health food stores and boutique groceries throughout the United States, as well as Whole Foods in Northern and Southern California, Arizona and the Northwest.
We make yogurt the old fashioned way. We use only fresh, sweet milk from our herd, natural seaweed agar for the set (we don’t like to gum it up with tapioca, pectin, gelatin or powdered milk) and we don’t add any sweeteners or animal by-products. We do add live cultures after pasteurization to enhance the easy digestion. And there you have it.
Our product is very light, delicate, smooth and mild. You will notice the difference from other yogurts in the texture. We have so many wonderful customers calling to tell us things like, “this tastes just like the yogurt I ate as a child in Greece,” and “this is the only yogurt I can eat to aid my sensitive stomach." Skyhill Farms yogurt is Kosher certified by the Orthodox Rabbinical Council.
If you haven’t already tried our yogurt, you are in for a taste treat. It’s very light and slides down so easily—a totally different experience from other yogurts on the market. Skyhill Farms Plain yogurt is currently sold in one size—32 oz.
